Bedworth United pre-match news
Gresley FC make the trip to the Oval tonight (7.45pm) to take on Bedworth United as they return to league action after their enforced break due to Eastwood Town's demise.
The Greenbacks find themselves languishing near the foot of the table and can ill afford to drop points with Kidsgrove Athletic just three points behind them in this season's only relegation slot albeit having played a game more than Bedworth so Gresley manager Martin Rowe knows it will not be an easy game.

"Bedworth will certainly be up for the game as they are battling to retain their step 4 status," says Rowe. "They know that if they slip up Kidsgrove could take advantage.

"I've told our players to prepare for a very, very tough game tonight as Bedworth will want a result from the game. Sometimes it's harder playing teams scrapping at the bottom because you don't know what to expect. At least you know what to expect from those at the top.

"However, the break from games has done some good and we couldn't have asked for better timing. It has allowed John Guy (toe), Liam Guest (shoulder) and Kieran O'Connell (Achilles) more time to recover from their injuries."

Gresley will be without young left back Lucas Harrison who starts a two game ban for his sending off at Sheffield and Marc Strzyzewski, who picked up an ankle injury against Romulus is a doubt.
