Mickleover Sports Pre-Match News
Gresley FC get back to league action on Saturday with the short trip to local rivals Mickleover Sports looking to avenge the defeat Sports inflicted on them on the first day of the season at the Moat Ground - a game which the Moatmen should have had won by the halftime break but failed to take the many chances they had created.
However, the Gresley side which started that game will have little resemblance to the one that takes on Sports tomorrow with John Guy, Eric Graves and Rob Spencer the only players who will feature.On-loan Derby County keeper Mats Morch will make his league debut for the Moatmen who also see the return of defender Mitch Hanson after missing the last few games due to being on a training course.
Jack Langston and Alex Steadman are available with Guy returning after missing the trip to Grantham through work commitments. Skipper Jamie Barrett is away attending a wedding and defender Marc Strzyzeski is rated as doubtful.
