New striker for Rovers
Gresley Rovers have signed former Derby County youngster Michael Moore from Bromsgrove Rovers.
Michael will make his debut at Gloucester City tomorrow (Sat 3pm).John McGinlay said: "I'm delighted with the signing. He has a good goal scoring record and hopefully will give us that extra bite we need up front. The lads who have played have worked very hard but I think Michael will get on the end of things and score goals if we give him the service.
"The other players will be given a lift from this signing as it will freshen things up."
McGinlay will have his problems as he decides he team for the Gloucester game.
Chris Parkins will be missing due to work commitments. He also has a slight calf problem and will benefit from the rest.
Loan signing Sean Cleary is in Ireland for the Christmas Period.
Mark Peters and Carl Middleton are both suspended, Ian Bluck has an ankle injury and both John Allcock and Andy Cheetham are suffering from the flu.
McGinlay does have Paul Fletcher available after being unavailable for the Halesowen game last Saturday.
"We wanted to get back to winning ways but we will be taking a weakend side and will be playing away although that gives others the chance to stake a claim," said McGinlay.
"I could recall Alex Green for the game but I'm reluctant to bring him back for one game and not play him. He's getting regular games at Ashton so we are still deciding what to do for the best, but it is an option."
The reserves are at home against Bedworth United tomorrow (2.45pm).
