McGinlay hoping to close the gap
There will be a lot of hopes resting on tomorrow’s game against Halesowen Town at the Moat Ground (3pm).
Rovers’ manager John McGinlay is hoping that they can close the gap on the leaders and gain three points rather than just the one they earned in the disapointing game at Atherstone last Saturday.

He said, "We are looking forward to the game because it will be one of the biggest of the season for us so far. There is a danger of Halesowen breaking away from the rest and so we have to keep the run going and beat them if we are going to catch them".

The chasing pack in the league will also be hoping Gresley can pull off a win to do them a favour also.

Stuart Evans will test his ankle tomorrow before being considered. According to assistant Alan Titterton he is still feeling the ankle slightly and he does not want to rush him back.

Ian Bluck (ankle), Sean Cleary (ankle) and Barry Woolley (knee) should all be fit after receiving knocks against Stamford midweek.

Ryan Ford’s loan extension should have been completed this morning and will be included in the squad.

John Allcock has reported no reaction after making his comeback on Tuesday at Stamford.

Jake Fairbrother returns after suspension.
