Gresley entertain local rivals Mickleover Sports at the Moat Ground on Saturday and are hoping to get back to winning ways.
In midweek Gresley overcame Ashby Ivanhoe in a six-nil win in the Coalville Charity Cup at the Moat with Jordan Nadat hitting a hat-trick and manager Gary Norton will be hoping that it will kick-start his side back into a winning run.Good friends of Norton Craig Hopkins and Glenn Kirkwood have recently taken the helm at Sports but the friendship will be put on hold as both sides will want to get the upper hand in this game.
Gresley had a comfortable four-nil win on Boxing Day at the Raygar Stadium and they will be hoping for a similar return when they meet again.
Midfielder James Jepson has moved to Kings Lynn, Louis Hamilton has joined Kettering Town and defender Sam Woods has gone on loan to Shepshed Dynamo.
Moat Ground favourite Rob Spencer has now had the wires removed from his fractured jaw as he continues to recover from the horrendous injury sustained against Coalville Town on New Year's Day. Goalkeeper Gary Hateley is a doubt with an ankle injury with young keeper George Woodward ready to step in.
Phil Massingham, who this week turned down a move to Rainworth Miners Welfare, serves the second of his three game suspension.
