Gresley managers Gary Norton and Martin Rowe will not be taking the trip to Leicester to face Thurnby Nirvana in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round lightly.
Former East Midlands Counties rivals Thurnby will provide a stern test as the Moatmen hope to get back to winning ways after their disappointing midweek league defeat at home to Newcastle Town.After overcoming Lincoln Moorlands Railway 4-2 at Dakyn Road, Thurnby travelled to Evo-Stik NPL Division One side Lincoln United in the following round and pulled off a fine 2-1 win.
Gresley will be without left back Jordi Gough who is on holiday and skipper Gary Hateley who is still out of the country on work commitments.
