Hinckley Downes Pre-Match News
Gresley end their first season in the East Midlands Counties League tomorrow (Saturday) against Hinckley Downes at the Moat Ground – 3pm and are hoping to finish on a winning note.
Having almost certainly secured runners-up position, unless Holbrook win by an amazing score line and Gresley fail to get a point, manager Gary Norton would like to exceed the points target he set at the beginning of the season with victory over one of the sides that dented his side's title challenge back in early March.Simon Baldwin is expected to start the game but striker Royce Turville will be missing having been allowed to take an early holiday.
Jack Coulson who is suffering from a knee injury is unlikely to be risked and Martin Gadsby and Rhys Powell are still out with injuries.
