Manager Gary Norton welcomes back several faces for tomorrow's East Midlands Counties League trip to Gedling Miners Welfare, kick-off 3pm.
With Norton struggling in recent weeks with a squad hit by injuries and other commitments he know has more options now available and wants everyone to react in the right way.He said: “It is a real boost to us to have cover, and now the volume is good and we have strength in depth.
“It really enhances us at a tough time when we are playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday.
“Going back two or three games, we were down to the bare bones, especially in defence, but now we have options.”
Mark Blount, who initially came in for one game to help out, looks set to start his third match in a row tomorrow.
Norton will also have defender Jack Coulson for the second time this season after the youngster, who has joined from Mickleover Sports, completed his suspension.
Jamie Barrett who has been suffering from an hamstring injury is back in contention and Gareth Langford also available.
Strikers Royce Turville and Stefan Marshall both came through an intense fitness session this week and one is expected to start tomorrow, with the other also in the squad.
Skipper Carl Slater is away on a stag weekend, while Paul Edwards’ cricket season has finally finished, but he is attending a wedding. Andy Elliot (groin) will play for the reserves, while Oliver Hancock (ankle) is a week away and Jordi Gough is continuing his recovery.
