Whilst we have known Gresley Chairman Mark Harrison for sometime we have invested time and energy on this deal to ensure it is right for everyone concerned. I am delighted it has come to fruition and hope that everyone benefits."
Mark Harrison (Chairman of Gresley FC) added, "We have all come to understand the need for Gresley to be a community club and we hope to be able to announce other sponsors shortly who have their roots in the South Derbyshire economy. I hope our supporters appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes to reach a major agreement like this and I can assure them that the Board will be working to bring other sponsors to the club as soon as possible."
