Ex Gresley Rovers player Alan Davies brings his Pontypridd Town side to the Moat Ground today for the clubs final pre-season game.
Davies, who is now based in Cardiff has recently taken over as manager of the Welsh second division side. His last performance for Gresley was at Kendall Town in the 2006 UniBond League play-off final where he scored an own goal in the 2-1 defeat.
Gresley FC manager Gary Norton hopes to have a bigger squad to choose from after missing several faces for the trip to Belper Town on Thursday evening.
Adam Betteridge should have recovered from a cold whilst Tom Betteridge, Andy Elliot and Gareth Langford return after being ruled out through work commitments.
Stefan Marshall will have a fitness test on the hamstring problem that ruled him out.
