Stocksbridge Pre-Match News
Manager Gary Norton has been extremely busy this week trying to put together a squad to face a Stocksbridge side that have play-off aspirations this season at the very least.
With most of his previous squad now signed with other clubs Norton has been searching for players to put on the Rovers' shirt.Norton will have Carl Slater available at least for tomorrow, as the skipper is yet to decide where his future lies. He will also have striker Kevin Lock and midfielders Jamie Barrett, Olly Hancock and Tom Liversage.
Jordi Gough, who has pledged to stay, has been ill all week and looks unlikely to play and Robbie Banks who also agreed to play unless sorted with another side looks a doubt suffering from a chest infection.
Former Moatmen Matt Smith and Paul Wardle have agreed to play if needed and one of them could start alongside reserve team manager Martyn Rowntree.
Reserve and youth team players striker Matt Weightman, midfielder Chris Nicholls, defender Harley Hollinshead, midfielder/forward Lee Fell and experienced defender Adam Thorley who played for the first team last season, could also feature.
Assistant manager Tony Hemmings was also sign on as a player and could also be involved in the squad.
