Keeper Signs On Loan
Gresley Rovers have today completed the loan signing of goalkeeper Lee Evans from Chasetown.
The 24 year old shotstopper played 53 games for the Scholars last season including 10 games in their record breaking FA Cup run. The excellent form of Ryan Price for Chasetown has limited Lee's appearances so far this season and the club would like to thank those involved at Chasetown who helped make the deal happen. Lee was formerly with Bedworth United where he was was voted Southern League Division One West "Goalkeeper of the Season for 2006/07". Other clubs for Lee include Willenhall Town, Hereford United, Ilkeston Town and Bromsgrove Rovers.
Lee's loan with the club is initially for one month and he will go straight into the squad for the Grantham game on Tuesday evening subject to the paperwork going through in time.
