Defender Jamie Hood returns to the squad after completing his five-match ban and could join Miles Chamberlain at the heart of Rovers defence. Dan Douglas would then revert back to his usual right back slot.
Striker David Blenkinsopp should be fit although he had a knock on his recently injured foot during the midweek draw at home to Goole.Danny Blair (back) and Jordan Lambert (knee) are still missing while Chris Mawbey also misses the match due to personal reasons.
