One in, two out
Striker Andy Bourne has joined Gresley Rovers from neighbours Rocester and looks likely to make his debut against top-of-the-table Clevedon Town at the Moat Ground tomorrow(Saturday). Kick off 3pm.
McGinlay said: “ I am delighted to have signed Andy. We have been tracking him for a few weeks and he will give us a few more options up front. He is very versatile and can also play wide and is likely to join on-loan Nicky Kennerdale and Chris Parkins in tomorrow’s squad.”Two players have left the club. Winger Shaun Bedward has left because of what McGinlay described as an “internal disciplinary matter” and striker Jon Jenkinson leaving to join Kidderminster Harriers.
“ Kidderminster put in seven days for Jon and he will play for one of their teams tomorrow. They want to have a look at him and we wish him all the best. I have always said that I will not stand in the way of any player who wants to move on to a higher level.” said McGinlay.
