Eastwood Pre-match News
Nicky Carter due back off holiday may take part in tomorrow's friendly at the Moat Ground against UniBond Premier new boys Eastwood Town - 3pm.
With manager Gary Norton still looking for a striker he may draft Luke Edwards into that slot.

Said Norton: "We may possibly have a look at Luke up front if he's available. He's tall and has the pace. I don't know if Luke has played in that position but neither had Aaron O'Connor before he came to us. He was a winger and look what happened to him!

"Tomorrow will be used to look at our organisation, moving the ball around and to get the maximum in terms of topping up our match fitness.

Adam Henchcliffe will need an operation on his injured knee and fellow midfielder faces at least a couple of weeks out as he begins treatment on his hamstring injury.

Winger Morgan Hurley will not be risked as he too is suffering with a hamstring problem.
