Charity Auction
After the Colwyn Bay match there is to be a charity auction in the Moat Ground social club with some fantastic football memorabilia, gifts, and local attraction lots; all kindly donated. The auction is in aid of Alzheimer's charities following the diagnosis of the wife of our former manager Frank Northwood.
Lots include a 1991 Gresley Rover FA Vase Final Shirt signed by some of the players from the day, signed footballs from the current Tottenham and Sunderland squads and a 2003 squad signed Manchester City football. Notts County have provided a signed first team shirt and we also have a Jeff Hughes signed Northern Ireland shirt. We have 4 match day tickets plus car park space for Derby's last home game of the season against Leeds - a match that I am sure will be a sell out - this was kindly donated by Derby County, with match days tickets also available from MK Dons and Walsall.We would like to thank all those individuals, football clubs and organisations that have kindly donated items for the auction, and particularly thank First Touch Sport & Media for the many items that have organised in support of the event.
Hopefully you will be able to join us in the social club after the match, where we hope to raise much needed funds for the charities we are supporting - a special welcome for Frank Northwood who hopes to be able to attend the event.
