Saturday it gets serious
Saturday sees the Rovers first league match against Halesowen Town.
This is when things get serious. The friendlies have finished and now there are points at stake. Manager John McGinlay has strengthened his side and is looking forward to the challenge.

He said: "A good start on Saturday against the team who are regarded as favourites to win the title would be a big bonus. I have been pleased with how things have gone during the pre-season but that's behind us now. Saturday will be a good gauge for us because Halesowen will be right up there at the end of the season.

"I hope the pre-season results do not prove to be a false picture of where we are, I don't think that will be the case. We aim to finish a lot higher than last year but I'm not going to say we will win the league but I'm sure we will be a lot better than last year.

"There is a quality to the squad now and I have had three or four different sides in my thoughts during the week, but that is a good thing. This team is so different to the one we had last season. Moral is good and I know we will do much better this season".
