The music to their ears was the announcement by the long serving Sponsors, Henkel Ltd., that they have agreed to extend their partnership under the UniBond League banner for a further two seasons until June 2009 - taking the duration of the sponsorship up to a record breaking 15 years.

Both parties recognise the successful relationship they have shared since 1994 and this is reflected in the continuity of their partnership.

Full details of the additional two seasons will be finalised taking in to account the changes in the constitution of the UniBond League which is due to expand to three divisions from the start of season 2007-2008.

The League's Chairman Peter Maude and Chief Executive Duncan Bayley are delighted with the news and on behalf of the league and its member clubs they extend their thanks to Steve Collins, Henkels Marketing Director, for the faith he has shown in continuing to support the UniBond League, as well as to Rob Jenkins, the Sponsorship Manager, for his day to day commitment to the efficient operation of the sponsorship for the mutual benefit of all concerned. The UniBond League emphasise it will be a pleasure to continue to work in conjunction with Henkel for a further two years.
