Goole pre-match news
Skipper Andy Simpson is again likely to miss tomorrow's game at the Moat Ground against Goole AFC (3pm) due to recovering from a dislocated shoulder picked up at Kidsgrove.
Matt Moran will also be missing due to a groin strain but will possibly step up his training next week.

Back in contention for a place is Gary White who has shook off an ankle injury that saw him miss the last couple of games.

Defender Matt Smith is training with the club but feels he needs more before making a first team appearance.

Tony Hemmings could feature in a reserve team game next week having recovered from a knee ligament injury and having a full training session last night.

Manager Gary Norton said: "Tomorrow could be one of those rare occasions when we can name an unchanged side. Gary White is back but Nicky Carter has played fantastically well in that left back position in the last couple of games. Jamie Barrett has added that little bit of steel and Paul Edwards scored for the second straight game.

"Matt Smith has done some training this week but feels very nervous about rushing back into things. He will be at the game on Saturday and will train next week and will be very much in contention for the Chorley game.

"Simmo wanted to be considered but we will rule him out because we don't want him to aggravate his shoulder injury.

"It's good to have Tony Hemmings around the place. He went through a full training session on Thursday and could play for the reserves next week although I'd be very surprised if he was involved in first team action in the final eight games."
