Pembo out of Trophy clash!
James Pemberton
Reserve team keeper James Pemberton has been ruled out of Saturday's FA Trophy match against Tamworth because of chickenpox.
Manager Gary Norton said: "James going down with chicken pox is another headache we didn't need. He's been told he will be off work for at least two weeks so there is no way he can be considered for Saturday."Gresley's No1 Dale Belford has been out since October due to a back injury that required surgery and although he's back in training it's touch and go whether he will be fit for Saturday.
Norton said: "Dale is facing a race against time, but he's been doing everything he can in training because he's desperate to face his former club. We are looking to bring in a keeper as cover as we only have youth team keeper Gareth Wilson to call upon, but senior non-league clubs don't want their keepers cup-tied."
