Frickley pre-match news
Gresley Rovers are looking for bouncebackability when they entertain Frickley Athletic in the FA Trophy at the Moat Ground tomorrow - KO 3pm.
Rovers lost their unbeaten away record in controversial circumstances last week and boss Gary Norton has set his team the challenge of bouncing back to start another unbeaten run starting tomorrow with Frickley. Norton said: "We need to get last weeks disappointment out of the way and what better way that a home tie in the Trophy. Frickley are a league above us and even though they are in the bottom third of the table we will probably start as the underdogs but, we are at home and if we can perform to our best than we won't be far away."
In team news, James Pemberton will take over in goal from loanee Gavin Saxby as Alfreton Town don't want the big shot stopper Trophy tied. Sean Gummer is included in the squad and looks set for an opportunity down the left in place of the departed Karl Brown who this week joined Conference North side Runcorn. Reserve team youngster Richard Draycott is also included in the squad as is youth team captain Tom Skinner
New signing Chris Gray completes a 1 match suspension after picking up 5 yellow cards for Hednesford Town prior to his switch this week back to the Moat Ground.
