Spalding pre-match news
Gresley Rovers go into tomorrow's FA Trophy tie against Spalding United looking to get over the disappointment of the midweek FA Cup replay defeat at the hands of Hucknall Town.
Goalkeeper Dale Belford is out with the back injury sustained against Hucknall last Saturday with reserve team stopper James Pemberton continuing in goal after an impressive full debut on Tuesday night. Central defender Jamie Hood begins the first game of his three-match ban courtesy of red card against Mossley a fortnight ago. New signing Jimmy Turner will go straight into the side to partner skipper Matt Smith at the heart of the defence.

Manager Gary Norton is looking for his side to show their bouncebackability and get back to winning way against Spalding. "Tomorrow will no doubt be a tough game and the players are keen to do well and get us through to the next round. We have had Spalding watched twice so know what we are up against. It would be great to get a little run in the trophy like we had last year but we will need to be at our best to progress."
