North Ferriby pre-match news
Gresley Rovers travel to free scoring North Ferriby United in a bid to keep up the pressure at the top end of the UniBond Division One.
Andy Simpson is serving a one-match suspension following his sending off against AFC Telford a fortnight ago. Sean Gummer returns to the squad after being the unlucky one to miss out on Saturday.

Norton thinks this will be another tough game against the leagues leading scorers. He said: "They are another side to have had a good start to the campaign and it will prove to be yet another tough game for us. It's important we can get a result tonight to keep the momentum going especially as we have a break from league action due to our FA Cup and FA Trophy games in the coming fortnight. North Ferribly are the league top scorers with 20 goals and when you consider that we only have 10 from 9 games there is a bit of a contrast. It going to be a great test tonight for us and I'm sure everyone is up for it."

Rovers' main injury doubt centers around goalkeeper Dale Belford who is struggling with a back strain but Norton hopes his keeper will be able to take his place in the Rovers goal.

"Belf has been struggling in recent weeks with his back but has been having intensive treatment between games. He has been in magnificent form so obviously we hope he can shake it off. We have a free midweek if Saturday's FA cup game doesn't go to a replay and the rest would do him the world of good. Reserve goalkeeper James Pemberton will make the trip tonight purely as a precaution."

Norton also put to bed any rumours about Justin Rowe's involvement in tonight's game. "Justin wasn't happy at being brought off in injury time on Saturday after earlier being sent on as a sub and he let me know that he wasn't happy after he came off.

Unfortunately it was in quite an unprofessional manner and witnessed by a few supporters. I feel for him a little because he's very frustrated at the moment as he's yet to score for us and I think a bit of that came out with his reaction on Saturday. These things happen all the time at a football club but it's an internal matter that has been dealt with within the guidelines of our club protocol so, as far as I'm concerned that's the end of the matter. Justin will score goals for us, just you see. Once he get his first one, then watch him go".
