At home for the start!
Gresley Rovers begin their first season in the UniBond Premier League Division One with a home game against Ossett Albion on Saturday 21st August 2004.
One of the longest journeys Gresley will have to undertake will be on August Bank Holiday Monday when they travel the 150 miles or so to Kendal Town.Shepshed Dynamo provide the Christmas holiday opposition with a visit to The Dovecote on Boxing Day and the return match at the Moat Ground on New Year's Day.
Those Gresley fans wanting to visit the acclaimed Bucks Head Stadium will have to wait until the final game of the season when they take on AFC Telford United on 30th April 2005.
The FA Cup has seen Gresley drawn at home against Studley in the Preliminary Round on 4th September. Should they be successful in that game they then have the mouth-watering 1st Qualifying Round tie away to local rivals Ilkeston Town if they are successful in overcoming the winners of the Holbeach United - Alvechurch game.
Spalding United will provide the opposition when Gresley play their home game in the Preliminary Round of the FA Trophy. Should Gresley win that round another home game against Frickley Athletic will be their reward.
The UniBond League Challenge Cup 1st Round sees Gresley on their travels this time to local rivals Rocester. This game is scheduled to take place on 26th October.
