Gareth Holmes joins Leigh RMI

Gresley Rovers have announced that following an approach from Conference side Leigh RMI they have agreed to waive the seven days notice of approach to allow Gareth to join up with Phil Starbuck's side.
Gary Norton confirmed that after speaking to Gareth about the move and considering the existing midfield options at the Club it was an appropriate decision to make. Gary added "The money released will enable us to look at strengthening the squad in other areas".
Gareth speaking exclusively to Gresley Rovers Online wished all the players and supporters the best and expressed how much he had enjoyed his time at the club and thanked it for the opportunities it had provided. He also expressed a desire to play for Gresley again, sometime in the future if the opportunity arose.
