Reserve Team News
Waterlogging has seen a few reserve games postponed in recent weeks and then a bizarre situation occurred last Saturday with many games still to play, a free Saturday was thrown up. This inactivity and a free Saturday gave me an opportunity to see how the first team were fairing.
Last Saturdays game against Atherstone, although not a classic was a decent enough game and as those who were here also will know we probably should have taken the points with better finishing. However, as I sat alone at the back of the stand the one thing that disappointed me most was not the lack of three points for the lads, but the hum of apparent negativity that erupts every time one of our players misplaces a pass or mistimes a header.

Apart from a few people, there was little positive encouragement or backing from our supporters and yes, whilst players do make mistakes, it only makes things worse if they are continually slaughtered and barracked by their own supporters. So come on, Lets everyone get behind John and the lads and encourage them, even when they do make mistakes.
