Mark Evans' Christmas Message
As I look back over these past twelve months, I know that it has been about as full a year as I can remember. But Christmas itself still remains a time for family and friends, reflection and a focus of hope for the future.
Anniversaries are important events in all our lives. Christmas is a religious anniversary; it also marks my anniversary as Chairman. It is a time at which I reflect on the progress that we have made together and acknowledge the contributions of those who have done so much to make this Football Club what it is today - their leadership and example, their achievements in so many other areas.

The Players, Gary, Alan and Steve, the many volunteers and supporters give so much.

Our modern world places such heavy demands on our time and attention that the need to remember our responsibilities to others is greater than ever. It is often difficult to keep this sense of perspective through the ups and downs of everyday life, let alone the life of a football club - as this year has constantly reminded me.

Fortified by the support you have given throughout the last twelve months which has meant so much to me, I look forward to the New Year, to facing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

A Happy Christmas to you all.

Mark
