Kitching moves on
Neil Kitching

Neil Kitching

Striker Neil Kitching has joined Midland Alliance club Stratford Town.
Since the signing of Shaun Harrad and Steve Lenagh Kitching has found himself further down the list of strikers and has decided he needs first team football.

He said: "Gary has brought in Shaun and Steve and they've done brilliantly. I love Gresley but I'm 30 I really need to be playing regularly."

Manager gary Norton said: "Neil had a word with me on the coach on Saurday night and said he wanted to leave the club. He said he needed regular football and was very professional about it. He can see that we've brought both Steve and Shaun to the club, and now we have hopefully secured Shaun on a mid-term basis, he feels he needs to move on.

"Kitch is delighted we have turned things around and I'm not going to rule out a return in the future as he is a model player and a great lad to have at the club."
