Manager update
Gresley Rovers chairman Mark Evans has received 10 applications for the First Team manager's job.
Evans is expecting a few more including one from the Reserve Team manager Gary Norton."Gary has indicated to me that he would applying for the job, though I've yet to receive a formal application. A few of the ones we have already received have been from people who applied previously. Some have been assistants and some have held posts in the Dr Martens Western Division," said Evans. "We are now looking to arrange a board meeting during next week to discuss the applicants and I'm now in the process of talking to them and arranging to meet."
The vacancy has arose because of Jon Newsome's decision to leave the club due to family reasons 10 days ago.
