Rovers have already begun work to ensure the Moat Ground reaches Beazer Premier standards.
Commercial director Frank McArdle said after last night’s win that the Gresley board had already authorised expenditure on improvements.Said McArdle: “To realise the club’s ambitions it’s always been necessary to comply with Beazer Premier standards in terms of our ground. I’ve been working behind the scenes for some weeks now to invest in the Moat Ground to ensure that we meet that standard in anticipation of tonight and to show good faith in our supporters and players the board have authorised expenditure of up to £10,000 to ensure that the ground reaches the required standard.
“I’ve got every confidence that in the next few days we will do just that and claim our place in the Premier Division.”
