Gresley Rovers boss Steve Dolby has warned his players that their FA Vase semi-final places are up for grabs as they play the first of two vital league games in three days tomorrow.
Rovers entertain Racing Club Warwick (3pm) two days before travelling to Forest Green Rovers on Monday with new signing Mark Hurst and fit again midfielder Tony Marsden both included in the 15-man squad.Dolby said today: “Of course they’re in contention for the Vase game. Everyone is playing for their place – I certainly haven’t finalised my Vase side. Two years ago we reached the final with the same 13 players but that was forced by circumstances. It’s certainly not the case this time around.”
