Gresley Rovers are forced to reshuffle for tomorrow night’s Beazer Midland top-of-the-table clash at Redditch (7.30pm).
Martin Devaney, who missed Saturday’s 5-2 win at Stourbridge with a groin strain that will keep him out for a fortnight, is joined on the treatment table by midfielder Richard Wardle, who suffered a gashed shin as Rovers made it three league victories out of three. And with midfielder Tony Marsden suspended for three weeks after being sent off in a Sunday game manager Steve Dolby is left with no choice but to change a winning team.
Former Grantham defender Dave Swainston joins the squad along with utility man Scott Elliott.
Redditch went down to their first defeat of the season at Bedworth on Saturday but Dolby today predicted a tough test for his side, saying: “They’ve made a good start and they’re obviously one of the better sides in the league.”
