Gray's a wanted man
Last season's top scorer is being tracked by rival clubs.
Both Solihull Borough and Sutton Coldfield have shown an interest in signing the midfielder.Gray was sent out on loan to recover his form last October and returned to the Moat Ground finishing the season in great form.
Chairman Mark Evans said: "It may be difficult to keep Chris. Solihull are talking to him and Sutton Coldfield have also shown an interest.
"We will do our utmost to keep him at Gresley and he has expressed his desire to stay with us. He enjoys his football here and has a very good relationship with the players, staff and the supporters, but he has to consider his own personal situation.
"If clubs offer him more money than we can then he may be tempted, which is why I'm hoping local businesses will come in and maybe consider individual player sponsorship."
Sutton Coldfield Town are also interested in Gresley midfielder Mark Peters and Evans expects him to join the manager who brought him to the Moat Ground, Brian Kenning who is the first team coach at Coles Lane.
Evans said: "He is undecided as of yet, but I suspect he will move."
