Gresley Rovers can take a crucial step towards sealing the West Midlands League title tonight in their first game with caretaker boss Steve Dolby at the helm.
Dolby names a full-strength 16-man squad as the Moatmen entertain West Brom Town at the Moat Ground (7.30pm), with the return of Stuart Evans and Craig Weston from injury. And he appealed to the Rovers faithful to turn out in force and urge their side to within a whisker of retaining the league crown.
Rovers need four more points to put themselves beyond the reach of rivals Stourport Swifts.
Dolby, in charge after the departure of Frank Northwood, said: “This is my first game in charge and because of that it’s an important game for me, but I think it’s more important for the team to get a good win behind them and get the league all but sorted out.
“I would also say to our supporters I hope they’ll back us after the upsets of the last couple of weeks and continue to support us as they have done all season.”
