Frank to call on all his forces

Gresley embark on a four-games-in-nine-days programme at Hinckley Athletic on Boxing Day (11am) aiming to consolidate their position at the top of the West Midlands League.
And the good news for manager Frank Northwood is that he is able to enter what is traditionally a difficult fixture for Rovers with a full-strength squad at his disposal.Last year Rovers triumphed 2-0 over Athletic at the Moat Ground on Boxing Day and repeated the result at Middlefield Lane in April.
Hinckley, currently struggling four places off the bottom of the table, will be looking to make up for the disappointment of Saturday’s FA Vase exit at Edgware after going all the way to the quarter-finals last season before losing to eventual winners Guiseley.
Rovers travel to Cradley on Saturday looking to complete a double over the Premier Division newcomers, who they beat 1-0 on the opening day of the season.
On New Year’s Day they entertain Paget Rangers (7.30pm) followed by a potentially tricky visit to title rivals Lye Town on January 4th.
