John goes for goals

John McGinlay is hoping Gresley Rovers will hit the goal trail at home to Bedworth United tomorrow (Sat 3pm).
Last week's 3-0 defeat at Hinckley United was another game which the Moatmen's lack of attacking quality shone through and it prompted the Moat boss to field the entire first team in a reserve match against the same opposition on Wednesday night - which Rovers won 2-0.Now McGinlay is hoping for an improvement against a side level on points with Rovers in the Dr Martens Western Division.
With top scorer Simon Tucker back after a family bereavement saw him miss the Hinckley game and likely to partner new signing Ravi Sangha up front, McGinlay is looking for goals.
"It is always a blow when you are missing your top scorer, but Simon will be back tomorrow," said McGinlay. "And with Ravi back after an ankle knock ruled him out on Wednesday we have got to see what we think will be the best pairing up front. However, a few more players are capable of scoring goals and I am looking to the midfielders to get on the score sheet - we rely to heavily on the strikers at the moment."
McGinlay will be without the suspended Jamie Roberts tomorrow, while fellow defender Ian Bluck faces a late fitness test on a back injury.
