Shepshed pre-match news
Craig Hopkins is still doubtful with an ankle injury and Ian Bluck is out due to a hamstring injury.
Manager Jon Newsome is hoping his side will put the record right after allowing Shepshed to come back from 3-0 down to grab a point at the Moat Ground on Boxing Day.

“We should be looking to put the record right because that draw felt like a defeat. On Boxing Day we dominated the game for the first 30 minutes but they ran the show in the second half. I must give credit where credit’s due and they deserved their point.

“I’m pleased that the lads learnt their lesson and got a good win at Sutton on Saturday. Their pitch wasn’t too clever and Shepshed’s isn’t expected to be the best either with all the rain we’ve been having.

“The key to the game will be our ability to adapt to the conditions which we did on Saturday.”

“If we manage a win at Shepshed and take seven points out of nine then I’ll count it as a successful Christmas and New Year campaign.”
