Land grabs credit

Gresley boss Frank Northwood last night paid tribute to his “ever present inspiration” – defender Gil Land.
Land, who played full games for Rovers on Monday and Tuesday, made a late appearance as substitute at Rocester to maintain a 100 percent league appearances record over the last two seasons.And Northwood said: “To have played in every game for two consecutive seasons is a great feat. If you need someone to lead the way, Landy is your man. He’s led the way for us and kept himself very fit.”
