Gresley Rovers moved a point nearer to the Banks’s League title after a 2-2 draw at Darlaston last night.
But manager Frank Northwood saw his injury hit squad further depleted when full back Martin Dick was carried off after an hour.

Northwood now awaits a report on Dick’s fitness after the left back – who was just fighting his way back into the side after missing most of the season after a cartilage operation – suffered what was feared to be a serious ankle injury.

Gresley hope to have top scorer Kieron Smith back for Saturday’s trip to second-placed Wednesfield after a rib injury.

Midfielder Neil Lovell (knee), goalkeeper Bob Aston (groin) and striker Carl Rathbone (knee) are doubtful.

Wednesfield are enjoying a long unbeaten run inspired by the arrival of former Gresley and Hereford United midfielder Ian Wells.
