Chairman's Shout

27th September 2008
Hello from the Highlands of Scotland and welcome to today’s game and a warm welcome to our near neighbours Loughborough Dynamo.

As I write to you I sit with a pint and a fantastic view over the Beauly Firth, very relaxing. Well for the first time I have joined the club I am hearing second hand about the matches I have missed.

It seems on Saturday against Carlton we were caught out by two quick goals and in the second half we were the better team but we failed to capitalize on it and lost 2-0 that’s football.

So while I sat drinking and eating on Tuesday night is was great to see the scores coming in by text and we came out as 4-0 winners against Leek Town and everybody I talked to were saying it was probably the best match of the season where everything just came together again that’s football.

It would be great to go on from Tuesday night’s match against our visitors today, who have had a good few weeks, and get some more points for our league campaign. I am really enjoying my break but I do miss the football (Don’t tell the wife I said that).

Thanks to Barry North and Garry Brockway for working hard this week, I have to say they have both done a great job this week in my absence.

Oh well short and sweet this week I’m away back to my holiday enjoy the match today give the lads a cheer for me and I will see you all next week.

Thanks for your continued support and again thanks for buying this week’s programme.

All the best

Mark
